I am very disappointed. I´ve been going to Passi for breakfast and lunch for a few years. First, I must say that the food is not what it used to be anymore lately. However, I keep going for coffee because I like the service and the place’s atmosphere. Unfortunately, today, I went for coffee, and as I was in a rush, I asked for a PLAIN croissant. When I asked for the bill, I saw they were charging me R65 as if I had had a “scone mad” which comes with cream, cheese and preserves!! When I asked if there was a mistake, they said they considered the plain croissant a “scone mad”! Charging R65 (USD3,53) for a plain croissant is highly ridiculous!

The Manager ruined the atmosphere for me by doing Admin at the table next to me and having altercations with staff by the kitchen door. Sorry if they had a bad day, but I felt like a criminal for not accepting a burnt coffee that was loudly being discussed around the corner. The quiche was obviously reheated (too hot and stuck to the plate), although very delicious.

A lovely place where you can have a relaxing breakfast with friends or family. We ordered the bacon and cheese quiche and it was so delicious. The waiter gave really good service too.
